(OH man, I love this image of this incredible couple!)
Happy New Year!! I hope your holidays were relaxing and spent with those who make you feel most at home. I logged in plenty of hours with my family and with 3 grandkids in our family, every Christmas gets a little more crazy in the best way. I’m so grateful for my tribe and every year I’m just increasingly thankful to have another year together with all of them.
I wanted to share a few photos from Kellie & Benton’s beautiful wedding. These two rounded out my 2015 season and I couldn’t have picked a better one for the job! When I first spoke with Kellie on the phone, it was obvious within seconds how incredibly kind she is. I hope I’m not sounding like a broken record (although let’s be honest, saying this on repeat is a huge blessing!) but she might just be the sweetest bride I’ve ever worked with. Working with her was an absolute dream! She was so excited to marry Benton and when I met him it was clear to see why they made such an awesome team. Here’s a quick trip down memory lane – check out their engagement photos!
Love a good window with some natural light : )
When I met Kellie’s mom, everything made even MORE sense!! I wish I could grab lunch with these two every month. They are the kind of people that make everyone around them feel special. I love this portrait of them. Thanks, Kay, for being awesome!
And there’s the groom’s awesome mom on the right (who was throwing down on the dance floor that night!)…
Eee! Time to get dressed!
Meanwhile, a few photos of the handsome groom downtown getting ready..
Good looking group of guys!
And back to the girls. Loved this moment between Kellie and her maid of honor who actually is getting married soon as well. Best wishes to you, Jenn!
The girls got ready at Kellie’s parents home and I was in love with her front porch and the natural light.
Married!! I love these two so much! Kellie and Benton – I can’t thank you enough for the honor of photographing your wedding. I’ll never forget it. You two have so much to look forward to together!
I’m so glad I got to end my season with Kellie and Benton. It was the perfect way to tie my 2015 season up in a pretty bow.
Special thanks to the staff at D’Amore downtown for helping Kellie and Benton’s wedding run so smoothly!
That’s right, you’re eyes aren’t playing tricks on you. Kilroy’s breadsticks for a midnight snack. IU alum will appreciate this for sure!
Let’s jump back to this one more time, yeah? Indianapolis, we love you!
Thank you Katie Destry for all of your help. I appreciate you! 🙂
Happy 2016, friends! It’s going to be a great year.
